Aspull Methodist Church in Wigan were in need of some help from the church heating specialist team when some extension work they had carried out resulted in some unwanted and unexpected problems.
The church extended their main hall and adjoining rooms to create more space for worshippers and communal users alike. The work was completed, and everything seemed fine, until they started to notice problems with their heating. It transpired that the builders had simply added extra piping and radiators to the existing heating system. It was a logical thing to do, but unfortunately when it comes to complex church heating systems, it's not that easy.
The old boilers couldn't cope with the extra power that was being demanded from them, and so were running inefficiently and were very costly on fuel bills. Our church heating experts quickly identified the problem and leapt into action. The first job was to replace the boilers with 2 wall mounted condensing boilers that are highly efficient. Individual zone control of the heating system was added, and the extremely expensive and outdated hot water tank was removed.

Barry, the Church Warden, was very happy with the professionalism of the team, and is delighted with the consistent warmth that the new system provides throughout the church.
