The new church heating system will take two weeks to warm the building once it has been fired up, so in the meantime worshippers and visitors are advised to wrap up whilst the new systems is being prepared.  It wont actually be fully functional for another 12 months.

The underfloor heating system required most of the flooring to be dug up and a network of pipes intricately laid out in order to provide even and effective heat distribution throughout the church.  The system needs time to settle in, and set properly, so the heat has to be gradually applied, which is why it will take so long to be finally completed.
