The New Maldon United Reformed Church in London required a complete church heating renovation, so they called on the experts to get the job done.
Having struggled with a failing heating system for far too long, the church pastor decided that now was the right time to get our team in to asses the situation, and put a proposal together. After a thorough site survey and heating loss calculations, a proposal of work was compiled, and once approved, the work began.
First of all the floor channel had to be exposed in order to access the pipe work and electricals, this looked dramatic, but once the flooring was replaced it looked as good as new.
Much of the fabric of the old heating system was made up of Victorian cast iron, which had become rotten, and was losing heat on a huge scale. Modern materials were brought in to replace to pipe work and other components, and a brand new, state-of-the art wall hung condensing boiler was installed and hooked up to the pipes and control unit.
Additional modern features such as a fabric protection control system, and zonal heating controls were installed, and really finished off the project.
